Cubieboard2 Thin Client beta release!

Isn't a "porting" of RPi-TC but a new OS based on Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal. Core pakage only was rebuilded.

Please note: use at your own risk! Don't use this image on multiple Cubieboard2 boards on the same LAN! This is a testing only version, CB2 is weird and have lot of issue!

What inside this beta release:
- Ubuntu Quantal 12.10 armel
- Rebuilded Kernel 3.4.61 with working Mali G2D and Audio modules
- Citrix Receiver 12.5.1 Rev. 1
- VMWare View Client 1.7.0 (yes, PCoIP is working!)
- Quest vWorkspaces 7.0b
- RDesktop 1.7.1
- xFreeRDP 1.1.0-beta1
- OpenNX 0.16.0.725
- X2GO Client 4.0.1.1
- SPICE GTK+ 0.20 Client & x-spice 2.8.90
- TN5250 Client 0.17.4
- X3270 Client 3.3.10
- RDPGUI v2
- XFCE Desktop Environment w/ right-click menu

How to install it:
- Prerequisite: Cubieboad2 board with 4Gb SDCard
- Download image here or here
- Unrar the archive
- Use win32diskimager or dd to burn image into sdcard
- Insert sdcard and power on Cubieboard2

  1. I can't access to VMware Connection server with view Client becuse of certificate. The message say "Untrusted View Connection". The server has right installed the certificates and is the last versión os View, View Horizon 5.2

  6. What's the performance on this thing? Would somebody make a short video or comment about this topic. Would be very helpful. And could you use this as a daily driver (smooth desktop apps, hd video playback,and overall good performance)?

  8. I'm going to test it next week. We always use HP thin clients for our citrix customers... But this sounds way better tbh.

  12. hi , great job ,! I've noticed the mac address is always set to 09:09 ... so is there any way to make it random so it would be possible to use more than one in same lan
