A friend was asking me for a customized version of RPi-TC...
- Ok, no problem, what you need?
- Your SO is good but... how to say... it's ugly!
- Sorry what????
- Yes, the bootup is old!
- Isn't old, it's vintage!
- Right...Maybe you can put an image on screen while loading?
- Ok i understand... i'll try...
He liked it :)

ReplyDeleteAny idea where the Citrix Receiver stores the last used user login credentials?
ReplyDeletei think is stored somewhere in /root/.ICAClient/cache
Deletehow can i get automatically start virtual desktop, like this? http://old.nabble.com/Re:-ICA-desktop-publishing-p25910450.html
DeleteSo I'm almost "done" however, I'd like to ONLY show the published desktop shortcut, not the published apps that show up in /root/.ICAClient/cache/Desktop is there any way to suppress those other than telling the published app NOT to give them a shortcut via Xenapp servers?
DeletePlease publish the boot splash files!
ReplyDeletePlease share! That looks amazing. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, I hope you will put it online!

Hi dude
ReplyDeletegreat job, tested your image today and it looks great and simple.
is there any chance to get opennx client into the image?
that would be great!
So we would be able to connect NomachineNX, FreeNX, Neatx.
If you have paypal, I'll spend you 50$ for implementing ... just for beer ! :-)
cheers
chris

Hi, What are the limitations of PCOIP? I want to buy some Raspberry pI for my college for my students and run vmware but the IT team only use PCOIP.Are you any closer to getting this to work or will it never happen? Thanks!
ReplyDeletePCoIP does not work on this board.

DeleteRPi-TC pcoip is working perfectly if this OS is running on different hardware. I use this OS - whith very little modification - on my Rikomagic MK802 IIIs. Wmvare View client is working with pcoip.
ReplyDeleteyep, problem is in the hardware... not in the software :)
DeleteWait, the new RPi is ARM11 right? PCoIP only needs ARM7, or is there any other hardware limitation?
DeleteHi I have received a Rikomagic MK802 IIIs. Is it just a question of installing the RPi-TC image? Thanks

Delete1. Download this and install: https://www.miniand.com/wiki/Appendix+C--Using+PicuntuRC3KernelInstaller
Delete2. Create at least 1 GB Linux partition on sd card
3. Download this image and upload the finished partition : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5652371/mk802_rbppi.img
4. Boot: https://www.miniand.com/wiki/Part+4-Booting+into+Picuntu+for+the+first+time
PCoIP need NEON extension and Thumb-2 instruction set
DeleteIs it possible to get this boot screen, its awesome
ReplyDeleteNot practical but simple way...
DeleteTake Adobe After Effects, make some short intro from template like http://youtu.be/d5Ut6mU6-so
Export to h264, and make it play from init.d script with hello_video example.
;)
DeleteI don't get why you say that it will never have PCoIP working ... (now and never) ... some guys from terravici said opposite :

Stéphane
VMWare View Open client didn't support PCoIP protocol.
DeleteOk, can I get this video starting please? Also how did you do this?
ReplyDeleteI would like to use that video also for my desktop linux :)
as valkam says:
